May 20, 2013 – Acuity Brands’ Peerless has released an expanded line of Mino direct ambient LED luminaires that includes a 1 x 4-ft recessed luminaire and nominal 1 x 1-ft recessed, surface/wall and pendant models. The entire product line has been upgraded, says Peerless, with a “high-performance, high-transmission” lens, and is available in a 3000K warm white colour temperature option. The new lens contributes to the increased energy efficiency of the luminaire by as much as 15 percent over the previous configuration, says the company, and enables delivery of up to 108 lumens per watt. Mino LED luminaires are IES LM-79 tested, CSA/CUS listed, FCC-certified and DesignLights Consortium-qualified.
