AEL offers CE Code 2015 training; partners with Magna IV

March 29, 2016 – Alberta Electrical League (AEL) has partnered with Magna IV Engineering to offer training on the Canadian Electrical Code, 2015 ed.

The one-day course will cover changes in the CE Code to keep you current with safety standards for the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment, specifically covering the 2015 CE Code, and Electrical Installations at Oil & Gas Facilities (2013 ed.).

The 8-hour course is geared toward Master Electricians, Construction & Maintenance Electricians, Power Systems Electricians, Safety Codes Officers, College Instructors, Electrical Technologists and Electrical Engineers. The primary instructor is David Mansfield (photo, courtesy Magna IV).

You will be provided with proof of attendance and a Certificate upon successful completion of a competency exam. The course is currently pending recognition by the Alberta Safety Codes Council for Safety Codes Officers and Master Electricians.

AEL membership has its privileges! The cost to Alberta Electrical League members is just $95 (+GST) per person. For all others, $130 (+GST) per person. Code books are available for purchase upon request.
