Aercoustics accredited for wind turbine acoustic noise emission testing

January 9, 2014 – The Standards Council of Canada has named Toronto-based Aercoustics Engineering Ltd. an ISO 17025:2005-accredited lab to conduct IEC 61400-11 measurements a.k.a. noise testing of wind turbines. Aercoustics says it is the first and only organization in Canada to secure this accreditation.
“Being the only accredited consultant in Canada helps us secure our spot at the forefront of the Canadian acoustical industry, paving the way to provide in-depth knowledge in acoustic noise and vibration,” said Payam Ashtiani, Aercoustics principal.
