Affiliated Distributors (A-D)—a North American independent distribution network—has hired electrical industry veteran Christian Siebens to the newly created position of director of clean energy for the Electrical Supply Division.

“In this evolving and rapidly growing market, A-D’s director of clean energy will be charged with helping to make A-D Affiliates the premier distribution channel for clean energy products and solutions,” said Bill Weisberg, A-D’s CEO.

Siebens has over 20 years of electrical industry experience within the manufacturing and distribution arena, with an emphasis on sales, marketing and business development. Over the last nine years, he has specialized in energy efficiency, renewable energy and smart grid technologies. Siebens is a regular speaker and trainer within the electrical industry.

In this new position, Siebens will develop and oversee programs that feature clean energy products and solutions, and be responsible for member training and vendor identification, solicitation and negotiation. He will be based out of A-D headquarters in Wayne, Pa.
