AFL‘s Patrick Dobbins, vice president and general manager of The Light Brigade training division, was recognized by The Fiber Optic Association Inc. (FOA) with the designation of “FOA Master Instructor.” The title, according to FOA, exemplifies Dobbins’ “dedication and contributions” to the fiber optic industry over the past 30 years.

“The FOA is recognizing those outstanding instructors who have served the fiber optic industry and the FOA so well by designating them as ‘FOA Master Instructors,’” explained Jim Hayes, president of the FOA. “These instructors have been an extremely important influence on our industry in helping create a capable workforce that has helped make fiber optic communications so successful.

The designation ‘FOA Master Instructor’ recognizes their contribution to our industry.”

Dobbins has been an FOA certified instructor for six years, and has worked in the fiber optic space for more than three decades, said the association.
