Albis Technologies launched its full-speed Gigabit Acceed 2202—a ULAF+EFM optical demarcation device for carrier ethernet access. The company says it will benefit operators on applications such as: high-speed business access ethernet services; backhaul of mobile base stations; demarcation of carrier wholesale solutions; and a variety of utility solutions. Acceed 2202 boasts: redundant links for protected services and link aggregation; network demarcation allowing SLA enforcement; gigabit non-blocking line rate switching; and network synchronization (i.e. SyncE, IEEE 1588v2).
