Alectra recognized for leadership by Sustainable Hamilton Burlington

September 29, 2020 – At its annual (virtual) award ceremony, Sustainable Hamilton Burlington presented Alectra with the organization’s first ever Sustainability Leadership Award for its commitment to sustainability. Congratulations!

Alectra says it has sustainability principles embedded into its core business strategies and operations by establishing a broad framework called AlectraCARES.

Among Alectra’s achievements is a 19% reduction rate in GHG emissions to date, and the creation of the Green Energy and Technology Centre.

“Its an honour to receive this award from Sustainable Hamilton Burlington for our leadership in innovation, customer service and sustainability,” said Caroline Karvonen, manager, Sustainability.
