Allied Moulded Products Inc. has introduced LH-CFL1 (keyless) and LH-CFL2 (pull chain) light fixtures that, it figures, will be a hit with homeowners. These 13W fixtures use a GU24 base and boast a 10,000-hour life, and output the same light as a 60W incandescent. The Energy Star-qualified CFLs are designed for use in attics, basements, closets and garages. The lamp base mounts to most 3-1/2-in. and 4-in. ceiling fixture boxes; the polycarbonate lens locks securely to the base with spring-loaded tabs (no screws required).
