AmerillumBrands moves into new lighting plant and HQ

January 11, 2011 | By Anthony Capkun

AmerillumBrands, the parent corporation of several lighting brands, has moved into its new, two-storey building in Oceanside, Calif. With over 54,000 sf of space, the building comprises a manufacturing plant, administrative and factory-direct customer-service offices, and warehousing, as well as conference and showroom facilities.

AmerillumBrands’ A•light and Alumen8 divisions supplied all of the interior and exterior lighting. The interior lighting plan has achieved a lighting power density of 0.62W/sf using T5HO linear fluorescents in combination with “precise luminaire placement and fixture types”.

“Our products are state-of-the-art, energy-efficient, high-performance luminaires, that quickly pay for themselves with significant electricity and maintenance savings,” said Ron Lancial, president of AmerillumBrands. “Substantially increasing our production capability allows us to meet current and future market demands, and elevate further our service levels to maintain customer support.”
