June 12, 2013 – Designed to meet the growing demand for energy-efficient flood lighting, Amerlux introduced Varieta, a new series of versatile, weatherproof LED flood lights. “Varieta provides a complete lighting solution with interchangeable optics for commercial flood lighting in a multitude of market segments,” said Amerlux CEO and president Chuck Campagna. A replacement for metal halide and high-pressure sodium fixures, Varieta is available in outputs ranging from 2100 to 19,100 lumens, 12 beam distributions using interchangeable optics, five sizes, three colour temperatures and a variety of media options. Offered with 0-10v dimming capabilities standard, the fixtures are designed with an internal integrated LED driver for 120-277v systems.
