Amir Messih appointed plant manager for Eaton Corp

The appointment of Amir Messih to plant manager, low voltage control assemblies in Airdrie, Alberta for Eaton Corp. was announced by Eaton vice president and general manager Steve Boccadoro. Messih will lead the Airdrie and Calgary operations.

Most recently, Messih was a program manager at the Eaton Quality
Institute in Southfield, Michigan.  In this role, he had global
responsibility for the Six Sigma program including strategy, deployment
and sustainability across the enterprise.  He managed a wide range of
improvement projects, says Eaton, as well as facilitated global
strategic planning with varied business units.  Prior to this position
Messih held roles in operational excellence, quality and operations.
Before joining Eaton, Messih served as quality manager at Alcatel in
North Carolina and at Nortel Networks in Calgary, employed in systems
engineering.

Messih is a certified professional engineer.  He holds a Masters of
Business Administration from the University of Michigan – Flint,
Masters of Engineering from the University of Calgary, and Bachelor of
Science, Industrial Engineering from the University of Alexandria.
