June 18, 2013 – Appleton has announced its Areamaster LED series of flood/high bay luminaires is now available with ATEX certification for global use in hazardous and potentially explosive locations requiring ATEX approval. The new ATEX version delivers the same light outputs and features as the current NEC/CEC models and a service life of more than 60,000 hours, says the company. The Areamaster LED ATEX version will be available in two versions: a yoke mount version and a chain mount version. The series covers voltage requirements from 220-240Vac 50/60Hz.
