New steel fire and safety boxes, extension rings and covers from ETP are protected by a red epoxy-powder coating, making them easy to identify. The boxes are available in 4-in. and 4 11/16-in. square, 1 1/2-in. and 2 1/8-in. deep welded or drawn construction. All are available with a raised boss that allows for a 3/8-in. ground screw to be threaded into the box without contacting the mounting surface. Standard flat ground tapped holes are also available.
