Appleton has introduced its new explosion-proof Gruse100 1-inch pump jack fitting, targeted at the petrochemical industry, which it says enables the safe connection of conduit lengths via its three one-inch unions. There is also a “spacious” 29-cubic-inch interior for pulling of the wire and maintenance. Both the cover and body of the Gruse100 are made from copper free aluminum with an epoxy powder coat finish and provide “superior corrosion resistance.”
