Arcad has introduced the latest version (4.1) of its Arc-Flash-Analytic software, which enables plant and facility managers, electrical contractors and personnel to perform checks on arc flash shock hazards. With this software, says Arcad, it’s easy to create customized arc flash warning labels. Key features include: IEEE 1584 Empirically Derived Model and Lee Method; IEEE 1584 Fuse Equations; IEEE 1584 Low-Voltage Circuit Breaker Equations; and NFPA 70E Phase-to-Ground Arcing Faults on Overhead Lines. Key capabilities include: determining arcing currents, incident energy, flash protection boundaries, etc.; the ability to save input configurations and calculation results; generating warning labels, and more.
