January 9, 2013 – Arcad has released the second edition of its Arc Flash Analytic 4.1 software for arc flash, shock hazard analysis and labelling. The new AFA v4.1.2 is capable of: determining arcing current, incident energy, arc flash protection, limited, restricted and prohibited shock approach boundaries, initial arc pressure, arc explosive TNT equivalent, hazard risk category, typical clothing system; saving input configurations, calculation results for future reference or printing; generating JPG, BMP, PDF format customized colour, black-and-white warning labels in English, French and Spanish; and customize labels by selecting and adding information displayed on them.
