September 3, 2021 | By Anthony Capkun

September 3, 2021 – Are you an electricity sector expert, innovator or trailblazer with insights to share? If so, the organizers of EDIST 2022 want to hear from you.

The Electricity, Distribution, Information Systems & Technology Conference & Exhibition is an educational conference and exhibition addressing critical engineering, operational, IT and management issues faced by Ontario’s local distribution companies.

“Given that electricity is set to become the largest part of the energy mix, utilities are adapting and evolving their businesses,” say event organizers. “They are taking charge in evolving the sector by leading new initiatives such as electrification, sustainability, operational efficiency, digitalization and more. Utilities are also playing a more central role on the path to net zero. LDCs are at the forefront, leading a bold new narrative and landscape for the electricity sector.”

The theme for EDIST 2022 is, fittingly, “Leading a bold new narrative”. The event is being held in-person January 19-21, 2022, at the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre.
