Arlington introduces larger flange box extenders

January 28, 2019 – Arlington’s non-conductive box extenders with larger, perforated flanges can extend set-back electrical boxes by up to 1.5 in.

The extenders hold larger cover plates, but are also trimmable for use with standard plates. Their oversized flanges are designed to provide extra device support when a wall opening is oversized or miscut.

The new products—including the single-gang BE1X, two-gang BE2X and three-gang BE3X—are priced the same as Arlington’s ‘regular’ flange box extenders and carry a two-hour fire rating.
