Arlington launches Steel Floor Box Kits

Arlington has launched Steel Floor Box Kits, which allow installers to install a receptacle and two low voltage openings in a new or existing floor.

The FLB5552 series Floor Box Kits feature two-gang steel boxes with an installed divider and square brass- or nickel-plated flip covers that Arlington says provides an easy, flush-to-floor installation.

The gasketed flip covers protect the box when not in use, hide incorrectly-cut flooring and protect against water intrusion, says Arlington. The covers are also sold separately to fit Arlington’s other boxes, as well as two-gang steel boxes from other manufacturers.

The kit also includes a duplex receptacle, low voltage duplex plate and mounting screws.
