July 12, 2018 — Over 135 senior executives from IMARK Canada member distributors and IMARK Canada suppliers recently attended the organization’s annual meeting in Montreal, Que. from June 26-28.

“We are very pleased with the growth of our membership and we were thrilled with the meeting, in terms of both the supplier support and member engagement,” said Jim Taggart, president, IMARK. “We have a very bright future in Canada.”

The IMARK Canada headquarters team provided an update on the current state of the organization, as well as plans for growth in 2018 and beyond.

Additionally, Swati Vora-Patel, director of research and communications, Electro-Federation Canada (EFC), presented a summary of the EFC report, “A Roadmap for Digital Supply Chain Excellence in the Canadian Electrical Industry,” to attendees.

At a ceremony on June 28, Taggart also announced the winners of the following awards:

• 2018 Member of the Year: Oscan Electrical Supplies
• 2018 Supplier of the Year: Acuity Brands Lighting Canada
• 2018 Purchasing Power award: EWEL
• 2018 Award for Superior Growth and Performance: Hammond Manufacturing
