Atkore acquiring Heritage to better serve electrical raceway customers

September 25, 2013 – Atkore International Inc. is acquiring the assets of the Heritage Group of companies (a.k.a. Heritage Plastics), a manufacturer of PVC conduit, fittings and elbows.

“The acquisition of Heritage Plastics complements our existing PVC product portfolio, expands our market presence nationwide, and enhances the total suite of value-added solutions for our electrical raceway customers,” noted John Williamson, Atkore’s president and CEO.

Terms of the sale were not disclosed. All Heritage Group of companies facilities will continue operating at their current locations.
