Atkore Calbrite laser marking for sanitary and washdown environments

June 13, 2022 – Atkore Calbrite has incorporated a fiber laser marking process to apply product information and labelling to its stainless-steel conduit and fittings.

“The fiber laser creates precise, durable markings that avoid fading regardless of time, environments, high temperatures, or repeated abrasions due to harsh cleaning,” says the company, adding that this process is an improvement over paper labels, engraving or stamping, “which create more harbouring points and increase the chance of labels detaching from products”.

The company says this marking process is ideal for food & beverage, and pharmaceutical applications.
