Autodesk launches AutoCAD Freestyle for electricians
By Anthony Capkun
Autodesk says its new AutoCAD Freestyle is easy-to-use, low-cost 2D drawing software ideal for creating professional-looking drawings, layouts and plans that can be shared. It has a simple user interface, with just the tools that specialty contractors need for start drawing immediately—no training required. Drawings can be shared with nearly anyone, because AutoCAD Freestyle produces files in the same format used by AutoCAD, genuine DWG, in addition to PDF, DWF, JPEG, PNG or BMP files for digital communication, archiving and reuse.
