April 21, 2014 – Hubbell Lighting has introduced the Cadet LED floodlight from its Beacon Products division, which it describes as a direct replacement for 50W-250W quartz, compact fluorescent, metal halide, and high pressure sodium (HPS) luminaires.

The floodlighting optics are available in 2×2, 4×4, 5×5, 6×6, 5×3 and 3×5 NEMA distributions and are interchangeable with Type 2, 3, 4, and Type V roadway and area lighting optics. Users can also adjust fixture light output to four nominal levels—100%, 75%, 50%, and 25%—with the company’s LED cartridge bezel system which, as a result, helps users fine-tune energy conservation. The product is CSA certified and suitable for wet locations.
