Become a GIVE ambassador alongside other young professionals

June 16, 2017 | By Anthony Capkun

June 16, 2017 – “A job is not just a job; a job is a way to give back,” explained Cherith Sinasac, as I chatted with her and Jarrod Stewart to learn more about the Young Professional Network’s 2017 GIVE initiative.

Electro-Federation Canada launched the YPN as a way to bring more young talent into the electrical industry and retain them by providing them with networking, mentorship and, in this case, philanthropic opportunity.

To that end, YPN’s GIVE initiative for 2017 is supporting Habitat for Humanity Canada, alongside EFC’s campaign Power to Build.

Each and every YPN member is challenged to do just #1THING. As Jarrod says, “If we all just did one thing [then] we really do have the Power to Build”.
