April 2, 2014 – Belden Inc., a global player in signal transmission solutions for mission critical applications, says it has completed its acquisition of Grass Valley, a player within the broadcast market.

According to Belden, “the value of this combination for both customers and shareholders is clear”.

“By aligning both resources and strategies, Belden creates a business that broadens its offerings, while realizing the benefits of scale,” it said, adding that it will also enable the “most complete” product offering in the broadcast industry.
