December 3, 2013 – Belden has announced its MarineTuff line of HaloarrestXLink LSZH-jacketed 600V instrumentation, control and VFD cables for offshore platforms, equipment suppliers and commercial shipbuilders.

These marine-certified cables boast the safety benefits of low smoke and zero halogen (LSZH) jackets while maintaining the physical toughness to withstand the harshest offshore environments, says the company. Suitable for interior and exterior environments, the cables are compliant with IEEE 45, IEEE 1580 Type P, UL 1309, IEC 60811-2-1, IEC 60754-1,2, IEC 60092-350, UL oil resistance II, UL 1277 TC-ER, UL 2225, IEEE 1202 and FT4 for flame-resistance, and IEC 60332-3-22. Additional features include -40C cold bend, 90C wet and dry rating and abrasion resistance.
