BICSI, an association “supporting the information technology systems (ITS) industry with information, education and knowledge assessment”, brought its Canadian Conference & Exhibition—held in Montreal May 2-5—to a close.
“This venue was as good, if not better, than any Canadian conference or U.S. conference that I’ve been to over the years,” said Daniel Hudson of Dan O. Hudson Consulting (Kinburn, Ont.). “The educational content was exceptional, and I learned valuable ITS information here in Montreal.”
A highlight of the event was the presentation of the Ross Cotton Canadian Region Award (named after a Canadian telecom pioneer leader of the ITS industry). Presented by Richard S. Smith, Canadian Region Director, was given to Peter LeVoy, vice-president of marketing at Anixter Canada.
