BICSI realigns conference schedule

BICSI has changed its annual conference line-up, deciding to hold two major American conferences per year instead of three. “This BICSI board decision will ensure the highest-quality conference experience for our members and visitors, as well enable new programs to better serve our customers,” said BICSI president Edward J. Donelan.

“The localization strategy offers better networking opportunities for
those looking to make business connections across several states,”
added Donelan. “In addition, we will focus our efforts on creating and
supporting local communities across the globe provided by
volunteer-organized regional meetings and breakfast or pub clubs.”

BICSI will not proceed with future BICSI U.S. Spring Conferences &
Exhibitions, including the 2010 event previously scheduled in April in
Albuquerque, N.M., allowing greater emphasis on the BICSI Fall and
Winter Conferences (September 20-24, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nev. and
January 17-21, 2010 in Orlando, Fla., respectively).
