BICSI, an association supporting the “information technology systems (ITS) industry with information, education and knowledge assessment”, announced a staffing change at its HQ in Tampa, Fla.

Betty Eckebrecht has been promoted to vice-president of administration and CFO. Since joining BICSI more than six years ago, Eckebrecht has served as director of administration & finance, acting director of international operations, and acting executive director. Additionally, she serves as the staff liaison to the Finance and Audit Committee, International Council and committee chairs.

Ronda V. Thomas has been promoted to director of human resources. Since joining BICSI four years ago, she has served as HR manager. Thomas has been an active contributing member of both the Staff Management Committee and Staff Vital Factor Team since their inceptions. She currently serves as staff liaison to the Ethics Committee.

Maarja Kolberg has been promoted to director of membership & marketing. Since joining BICSI over four years ago, Kolberg has served as both communications manager and communications coordinator. She is the staff liaison for the Membership & Marketing Committee.

Finally, Rick Westcott has been promoted to the position of sales manager. He joined BICSI six years ago and has served as both sales executive and service consultant.
