December 11, 2018 - The 2015 CE Code saw a number of changes to Section 68: Pools, Tubs, Spas. The 2018 CE Code also added a few more changes, but you might just wonder, what is really new with pools from the past few years?

July 27, 2018 — For the first time in the CE Code (2018 ed.), a unit substation is defined as an integrated unit consisting of one or more transformers, disconnecting means, overcorrect devices and other associated equipment, each contained in an enclosure designed and constructed to restrict access to live parts (Rule 26-240).

June 28, 2017 - What do circuit loading and demand factors mean, and how are they different? A circuit load is a component or portion of the circuit that consumes power. A demand factor is a time-dependent fractional quantity that will always be less than, or equal to, one. Huh?

Nothing much has changed in recreational vehicle parks over the past CE Code cycle, but a number of changes took place over the past 15 years to make this part of the code clearer.
December 12, 2016 - An interactive power production system operates in conjunction with—and can deliver power to—another power system, such as the utility. While this could involve a standard generator, I will focus on renewable energy systems.
August 10, 2016 - The building code defines a vapour barrier as “the elements installed to control the diffusion of water vapour”. Did you notice it says “control” not “eliminate”?
