Distributor delight! Northern Cables releases customer service portal Version 2.0

March 6, 2024 – Northern Cables has updated its customer service portal to Version 2.0, thereby increasing efficiencies for its electrical distributor partners.

“Our focus for the portal has always been to increase the ease of doing business with Northern Cables […],” said Dan Emond, vice-president, Sales & Marketing. “The net result is that our distribution partners can better serve their client base.”

The latest customer service portal boasts new or upgraded features, such as:

• Enhanced mobile device capabilities
• Real-time inventory viewing and reservation
• Integrated CRM for seamless communication with customers
• Reserve partial cuts from longer-length inventory reels
• Automated shipping document processes
• Automated reel return RMA generator
• Quick access to detailed product spec sheets
• Increased flexibility when modifying team member permissions
• All reports available in PDF or CSV formats
