July 8, 2015 – The Bosch BAT622 18V FatPack battery is “the power tool industry’s first 6.0 Ah battery, with up to 45% more runtime over standard 4.0 Ah packs”, says Bosch.

Bosch lithium-ion batteries start with a propriety heat sink housing design and a CoolPack heat conductive housing is designed to cool internal cell temperatures.

The BAT622 is compatible with the complete line of Bosch 18V lithium-ion power tools. It’s built with high-capacity, low-resistance lithium-ion cells that increase the overall charge capacity from standard 4.0 Ah batteries, Bosch said.

BAT622 batteries maintain the same size and weight footprint found on previous Bosch 3.0 Ah, 4.0 Ah and 5.0 Ah 18V batteries. Like all Bosch 18V batteries, the BAT622 6.0 Ah also includes a fuel gauge.
