Bosch introduces DareDevil spade bit
September 9, 2010 | By Anthony Capkun
Bosch says it will change the way you think about spade bits with its new DareDevil. The bits feature a full-cone threaded tip that pulls the bit into the wood, reducing the amount of exertion and time needed to cut. The bits’ paddle has a distinct curvature that reduces heat and speeds up chip removal for faster cutting. Bosch’s new spur and reamer design not only scores the wood for accurate travel throughout, but the spurs have angled cutting edges that ream the hole for reduced breakout.
