(UPDATED Sept. 18, 2013, with photo) September 6, 2013 – Britech Heating Cables & Controls—a provider of engineered and standard heating cables, mats and controls—introduced a new lineup of self-regulating cables that are priced, says the company, to offer the best value in Canada.

Available for immediate shipping, the Britech FT/ST self-regulating cables are suitable for general freeze protection in residential, commercial and industrial applications. The FT/ST system is easy to design, says Britech, and installs directly on pipes, tanks, roofs, gutters and drains. Moisture- and abrasion-resistant, the cable can be cut to length at the jobsite, simplifying the installation process and reducing waste. The cable will not self-destruct by overheating, adds the company, and is available with a power supply of 120V to 240V.
