October 27, 2015 – The PTQ Series enclosure, an IP67 rated box, is new from Bud Industries. Unlike some other molded plastic enclosures, the PTQ Series is made of polycarbonate plastic infused with 10% fiberglass, Bud Industries noted.

This enclosure protects electrical and electronic designs in many applications including on the factory floor (where equipment washdowns are common), outdoors in dusty and corrosive environments, and even where there is a risk of temporary submersion, Bud Industries said. The enclosure is well suited for housing machine controls, WIFI and radio equipment, lighting, and access controls, it added.

The series is available in 10 sizes ranging from 5.91 in. x 5.91 in. x 3.34 in. to 24.8 in. x 20.87 in. x 10.04 in. and features a hinged latching lid or a clear polycarbonate lid.

The enclosure is available from stock at prices starting around $15.50 US with discounts for quantity orders.
