Designed to be used with a multitude of new and existing lighting fixtures with GU24 sockets, Bulbrite has added a line of dimmable GU24s to its family of CFLs. The GU24 socket system was designed to replace the Edison socket and base, says Bulbrite, transforming standard lighting into energy efficient fixtures. The lamps promise a warm, incandescent-like White light while delivering smooth dimming—down to 10%. They work with many incandescent dimmers and have a rated life of 10,000 hours. The bulbs are offered in 13W (850 lumens), 18W (1150 lumens) and 23W (1600 lumens) styles, have a CRI (Colour Rendering Index) of 82 and a temperature of 2700K.
