Burndy expands aluminum lug portfolio — January 2018

January 3, 2018 — Burndy has added four standard width tongue variations to their aluminum compression lug portfolio.

The new Burndy catalog numbers (YA34A8, YA36A13 and YA44A8) accommodate 500 kcmil, 600 kcmil and 1000 kcmil conductor, respectively. Offering an alternative to the existing narrow width tongue pad, these terminals feature two-hole NEMA pad drilling, are UL listed, CSA certified and dual rated for use with copper or aluminum conductor.
