Burndy introduces pneumatic crimping press

May 10, 2019 – Compression connector manufacturer Burndy, a Hubbell brand, has released the OEM175 pneumatic crimping press for wire harness shops and panel builders.

The compact benchtop unit is designed to allow small to medium original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to terminate small (i.e. #22 to #10 AWG) terminals on mylar tape reels.

The OEM175 features an auto-feed mechanism, a two-stage ram to ensure accurate conductor placement, a clear guard with interlock switch to prevent access into the crimp area during operation and an emergency release switch.
