November 23, 2014 – Burndy unveiled what it calls its largest-capacity cutter to date: the RHCC4CUAL.

The RHCC4CUAL cutter is designed to cut up to 4-in. diameter copper and aluminum cables. The remote head cutting tool boasts high-strength hardened steel, scissor-action cutting blades for mid-span cuts, and a 360° swivel hose fitting for ease of use in confined spaces. The cutter comes with a canvas carry-bag and a 5-year limited warranty (excluding blades). Burndy says a battery-operated version will be coming out shortly.
