September 7, 2017 – Core Products Canada Ltd., a Toronto-based manufacturer of commercial, industrial, and multi-residential LED lighting products, has changed its corporate name to Premise LED Inc.

The company started as a warehouse in Hamilton carrying a line of LED lamps, serving the Greater Toronto Area. It now offers a line of LED luminaires including flat panels, high bays, troffers, and explosion proof floods from two warehouses in Toronto and Calgary. Premise LED says the name change reflects its dedication to serving broader markets.

“In a lot of these new markets, the name Core is already in use; so we decided to put what made us successful directly in our name: our premise of sticking to the main principles of how we do business so that we’d never forget how we got here,” said Nick Wagner, president and co-founder of Premise LED.
