February 22, 2017 – Long Bridge Inc., specializing in the construction of custom electrical control panels and based in Cambridge, Ont., has merged with IDT Systems Inc.

 
“The merger completes this phase of our growth activities. Our attention now turns to the process of integrating our teams and aligning our goals to build a globally competitive control panel manufacturer,” said Long Bridge’s president, John Milligan. “We can leverage more than 37,000 sf of manufacturing space and bring a talented group of project managers, system designers, and technicians to the marketplace.”
 
In his new role as vice-president of business development, Brian Brohman—the former president of IDT Systems—says IDT is excited about the future, as the merger increases manufacturing abilities.

The addition of IDT Systems Inc. and the 2014 purchase of Machine Control Systems located in Guelph, now creates a combined workforce of over sixty team members.
