April 20, 2016 – Legrand reports it has signed a definitive agreement (subject to standard conditions) to acquire Luxul Wireless, an IP networking provider for custom integration systems for residential and small-to-medium-sized enterprise (SME) markets.

The solutions from Luxul Wireless “will become an essential component of Legrand’s On-Q and Nuvo home systems, as well as supporting countless other systems,” said John Selldorff, CEO, Legrand North & Central America. “This acquisition brings best-in-class network expertise to Legrand and leverages many channel synergies.”

Legrand says this acquisition will enable it to meet the growth of IoT devices and automated systems throughout the SME market, and “further establish Legrand’s leadership position in the home systems market”.
