September 5, 2019 – Leviton has entered a new partnership with Alarm.com, becoming an approved provider of Decora Smart Z-Wave lighting control devices, including dimmers, switches and plug-in outlets, for residential installations.

The partnership means users will be able to remotely control and automate lights and connected devices with an Alarm.com panel or mobile app. Select products from Leviton are now available as upgrades to compatible security panels and controllers, covering all firmware versions.

Safety and security applications include creating scheduled times to turn lights on and off, so a home looks lived-in when its owners are away and, conversely, they never have to come home to a dark house. Lighting schemes can even be randomized.

Decora Smart products are available to electrical contractors through Leviton’s authorized distributors and retailers.
