Calbrite has said its products are more durable and non-corrosive than aluminum conduit and fittings, which it says is effective against corrosion, as internal tests show that stainless steel is two to five times stronger than aluminum depending upon the application and the environment. Calbrite says it is UL6A listed, UL514A, and 514B listed, and many of its products are ARRA-compliant, meeting and exceeding the requirements for wash-down, food-safety/potable-water-safety.
