August 2, 2018 — Technical Safety BC is now accepting nominations for the 2018 Lieutenant Governor Safety Awards.

The awards recognize individuals and organizations who demonstrate leadership, achievement or innovation in technical safety in British Columbia.

Awards will be handed out in the following four categories: Exceptional Contribution to Technical Safety (Asset Owner and Contractor categories), Excellence in Safety and Technical Training and Data Digital Technology in Technical Safety.

Nominees will have demonstrated an understanding of risks, industry expertise, collaboration and leadership.

The Safety Award Selection Committee will select the award recipients. The awards ceremony will take place on November 7, 2018 at the Parq Vancouver.
