April 30, 2014 – Schneider Electric Solar Business, a provider of solutions for the solar power conversion chain, has announced a strategic partnership with Canadian Energy for exclusive distribution of Schneider’s battery-based, solar offer in Canada.

With this agreement, Canadian Energy will now distribute the Conext SW, Conext XW, Conext ComBox, MPPT Solar Charge Controllers and Battery based balance of system products in Canada.

“This partnership is a long term strategy supporting not only the business growth of our two organizations, but also the promotion of clean, secure energy to Canadian businesses and home owners,” said Laurent Bataille, SVP of Schneider’s solar business.

According to the company, this “first of its kind” exclusive distribution model will bring “improved customer experience in an exciting and competitive off-grid solar market”. As well, it will improve the experience for installers by reducing lead times, increasing pre and post sales service and support, and improving access to Conext XW and Conext SW offers, said Schneider.
