August 17, 2011 – Carhartt’s new F11 flame-resistant clothing collection for men and women is now available which it claims is suitable for many electrical, petrochemical and general industry workers who are at risk of electric arc flashes and flash fires on the job. Choose from twill, chambray, crewneck and plaid shirts, pants, denim, overalls and jackets such as the: Flame-Resistant Chambray Shirt (FRS004), a 6-ounce FR Chambray; a blend of 88% cotton and 12& high-tenacity nylon shirt layered under a Flame-Resistant Midweight Active Jac / Quilt Lined (FRJ237), a 8.5-ounce FR canvas; a blend of 88% cotton and 12% high-tenacity nylon with a 6.5-ounce lining.
