Carlo Gavazzi’s Dupline Safe monitoring system goes the distance

July 29, 2016 – According to Carlo Gavazzi, Dupline Safe, a safety bus, can transmit signals up to 5 km without repeater, making it possible to implement plant-wide solutions.

Noise immunity and reliability allow Dupline Safe—with up to 63 input modules on one bus—to avoid false trips, the company adds, while safety diagnostics mean machine stops can be fixed faster.

Dupline Safe products are now approved by TUV according to EN61508-SIL3 and EN954-1 Cat 4.
