June 2, 2020 – Caterpillar’s Cat GC diesel gensets are part of a new line of standby power solutions that includes eight new models with ratings from 250kW to 600kW.

Available for applications in 60Hz operating environments, the gensets include a 2-year warranty for standby power solutions, with a suite of available extended service coverage options. Caterpillar supplies matching enclosures for applications requiring noise attenuation or protection from the elements.

The equipment can be equipped with Cat Connect Remote Asset Monitoring, which provides data visualization, reporting and alerts that are accessible via a simple web interface.
